Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website eesy.in, its sub-domains, and associated mobile applications (collectively, the “Platform”) operated by Eesy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Eesy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered under the laws of India.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Definitions

  • “Customer” means any individual who registers on or uses the Platform to browse, book, or avail services.
  • “Partner” means a service provider company or individual that has been approved by Eesy to offer services through the Platform.
  • “Technician” / “Employee” means a professional employed or contracted by a Partner to perform services on behalf of the Partner.
  • “Booking” means a service request placed by a Customer through the Platform.
  • “Service” means any home or business service listed on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
  • By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Account Registration

  • You may register using your phone number and/or email address.
  • One account per phone number is permitted.
  • You must verify your email address to access certain features (e.g., password reset).
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Services & Bookings

a) Booking a Service

  • Customers can browse services, select a service, choose a date and time, and place a booking.
  • Bookings are subject to Partner availability and service area coverage.
  • Eesy acts as a marketplace connecting Customers with Partners. Eesy does not directly provide the services.

b) Booking Lifecycle

  • Once placed, a booking goes through the following stages: Pending → Assigned → Accepted → On The Way → Arrived → In Progress → Completed.
  • Customers may cancel a booking before it is marked “In Progress”.
  • Partners may update booking status through their dashboard as the service progresses.

c) Service Quality

  • Partners are independently responsible for the quality and timeliness of their services.
  • Eesy vets and approves Partners but does not guarantee the outcome of any individual service.
  • Customers are encouraged to rate and review services after completion. Reviews help maintain platform quality.

5. Pricing & Payments

  • All service prices are displayed on the Platform at the time of booking and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Razorpay.
  • Accepted payment methods include UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and other methods supported by Razorpay.
  • Eesy charges a platform fee (currently 15%) on each completed booking. This fee is deducted from the Partner's payout.
  • Payment is captured upon booking confirmation. Refunds, if applicable, are processed as per our Refund Policy (Section 7).

6. Cancellations

  • By Customer: You may cancel a booking before the technician marks it as “In Progress”. Cancellation charges may apply depending on the stage of the booking.
  • By Partner: Partners may cancel a booking due to unavailability. In such cases, Eesy will attempt to reassign the booking or process a full refund.
  • By Eesy: We reserve the right to cancel bookings in cases of suspected fraud, system errors, or force majeure events.

7. Refunds

  • If a booking is cancelled before a technician is assigned, a full refund will be issued.
  • If a booking is cancelled after assignment but before service commencement, a partial refund may be issued at Eesy's discretion.
  • Refund disputes can be raised through the Disputes section on the Platform.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

8. Disputes & Grievance Redressal

  • Customers may raise a dispute for issues including but not limited to: service quality, late arrival, incorrect charges, property damage, no-show, or unprofessional behaviour.
  • Disputes can be raised through the Platform under the “Support” section.
  • Eesy will review disputes and aim to resolve them within 7 business days.
  • Dispute outcomes may include partial or full refunds, Partner warnings, or Partner suspension.
  • Eesy's decision on dispute resolution is final and binding.

9. Real-Time Tracking

  • For active bookings, Customers may track the assigned technician's location in real time.
  • Location tracking is enabled only during active service delivery (from “On The Way” to “Completed”).
  • Technician location data is collected with their consent and is used solely for service delivery purposes.

10. Reviews & Ratings

  • Customers may leave one review per completed booking, consisting of a star rating (1–5) and an optional comment.
  • Reviews must be honest, relevant, and not contain abusive, defamatory, or misleading content.
  • Eesy reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.
  • Reviews are visible to Partners and may be used for quality improvement.

11. Notifications

  • By using the Platform, you consent to receive notifications related to your bookings, account activity, disputes, and promotional offers.
  • Notifications are delivered via in-app notifications and email.
  • You may manage your notification preferences through your account settings.

12. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Platform — including logos, text, graphics, UI design, and software — is the intellectual property of Eesy Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written consent.
  • User-generated content (reviews, comments) remains your property, but you grant Eesy a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute it on the Platform.

13. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
  • Interfere with the Platform's operation, security, or infrastructure.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation.
  • Submit false bookings, reviews, or dispute claims.
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten any Partner, Technician, or Eesy employee.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without permission.

14. Limitation of Liability

  • Eesy acts as an intermediary marketplace. We are not liable for the actions, omissions, or negligence of Partners or Technicians.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eesy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking in question.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eesy, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

16. Partner Terms

  • Partners must complete a registration and approval process before offering services on the Platform.
  • Partners are responsible for ensuring their employees are qualified, trained, and conduct themselves professionally.
  • Partners receive payouts for completed bookings after deduction of the platform fee.
  • Eesy reserves the right to suspend or remove Partners who consistently receive poor reviews or violate these Terms.

17. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when the latest revision was made. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
